Are you looking for some family fun? Need to take the kids somewhere entertaining? Well, you need look no further. Burr’s Berry Farm Harvest Festival is quite the fun time, and they got awesome shakes to boot. You can’t go wrong. They’ve got a great harvest time setup that the kids will be sure to enjoy.
There’s plenty to do to keep the kids busy and having a great time. There’s a corn maze, a hay maze, a pumpkin patch, a tented games area, a corn pit, a tractor ride the whole family can enjoy and a barrel ride specifically for the children. Do you need a pumpkin carved or painted for Halloween? You and the kids can enjoy doing some carving or pumpkin painting to decorate your house. You can let the children enjoy themselves in the corn pit, which was quite fun. They also have a sandy tire pyramid that the kids can climb onto.
Oh, and if taking pictures is your thing, there’s plenty of photo ops for the whole family. We enjoyed taking pictures at all the different spots they had set up through out the property. I think they make great backdrops for either Halloween or Thanksgiving if you’re thinking ahead and want to get some great pics for that holiday as well.
To end our fabulous trip, of course, we went to the concession stand to try out one of their new shakes that they have now exclusively for the fall season. You can try either their Pumpkin Spice shake or Salted Caramel shake. Not an easy decision, I know, but we opted for the Salted Caramel shake and it did not disappoint. It was so thick and creamy that we had to ask for spoons. The only way a shake should be if you ask me. They also have farm fresh jams, honey, salsas, hot sauces, bread & butter pickles and seasonal breads.
Burr’s Berry Farms Harvest Festival is open now through November 25. There is no admission fee so it’s a great place to come with the family and save money. Whether you are in the area or not, we think this is a great place to come for a while and the kids will really enjoy themselves.
