Have you ever done, or even heard of, an olive oil and vinegar tasting? At Olive Morada in Islamorada, FL, you can do just that and more.
When we first walked in to the store, we were enthusiastically greeted by one of the two owners, Jen. The store’s two owners are Jen and Jenn, isn’t that adorable? She talked with us for a bit, giving us some information on the store and the oils and vinegars. But she was so excited to have us start trying all the specialty oils and Balsamic Vinegars they had to offer.
Jen had Black Mission Fig Vinegar and Rosemary Olive Oil out on the table for customers to have their tasting. I have to admit, I wasn’t too keen on olive oil and vinegar tastings, but I tried it nonetheless. All I can say is, I’m so glad I did. This particular combination was amazing. You can see Jen in the photo above preparing us more tastings, every one of them more delicious than the previous one. They have quite a large selection of oils and vinegars, ranging from sweet to sour, to even spicy.
